Messin' with Texas

People in Texas come in all shapes and sizes

This picture, was taken in the Houston Hobby airport. It is in some random corridor in one of the terminals, near the bathrooms. When I saw this, I immediately imagined many different sizes of people all drinking at the same time. I think the heights of the water fountains are an artistic choice, but perhaps the functional rationale that I came to is what the artist intended. I think that this picture is important, because you the reader only get to see what I show you here. Yes Texas is very conservative, and certainly has its own culture, but it is not that different than everywhere else. Although I sometimes feel there is one mindset, it should be stated Texas, like everywhere else,  has diversity. I ended up in a rather combative debate last night, and I realize that I may have forgotten that, and perhaps I am been unfair from time to time. I think that too often I am on the defensive about my views and ideas, which causes the knee-jerk reaction. I forget that I have good friends, and am having fun so far.
