For 40 dollars you get lunch and a 6 hour day of horseback riding in the mountains outside of Quito, transportation included. In hindsight, I guess they were closer to high hills. It was good fun, although there was a lot of down time before and after the ride waiting for transportation. My butt wasn’t built for six hours on a horse though and if I go back, I will go for the 4 hour trip.
