Messin' with Texas

here in Texas, I live in Beaumont but I work in Port Arthur. Port Arthur is generally a rundown area. It hasn’t quite recovered from the hurricane damage and has fallen into further disrepair. Two weeks ago I took my first trip  through port Arthur and took a few pictures. I thought I would share them with you. Just a note, poor are generally has a lot of crime and violence. The signs in the pictures are from bars in the area. Also the lone Star sign on the gas station is for Texas food stamps. Apparently you can use food stamps at the gas station. This may be true in other states but I have never seen it advertised. This leads me to believe that there must be many people on food stamps in port Arthur, however I have no factual evidence to back this up. It’s just a thought.
