So I have been getting a lot of questions about where exactly I live. Beaumont, Texas is in south east Texas right on the border with Louisiana. You can see the map below:

Also for those of you that are curious here is a little weather data. It rains a fair amount here (I am in swamp country after all). It’s generally humid all the time but it does not get very cold here as you can see. It’s December and I am wearing a t-shirt right now, considering taking a dip in the pool. So far though, the temperature has been very volatile. Three times since I have been here the temperature has changed 20 degrees (Fahrenheit) in a few hours.
